ORIGINAL SCRIPTS

Pilot scripts for original, unproduced series, written by Ian MacIntyre.

Common Grounds
Common Grounds is a cozy, bright, and busy downtown coffee shop owned by Dawn, a former management consultant tired of “professionally firing people”. Dawn is now the calm, collected centre of her very own bustling coffee shop, and finds herself dealing with her new staff: sweet but not-too-swift Andi, and know-it-all hipster Martin. Dawn also inherits several oddball regulars, including cagey would-be screenwriter Martin, and contractor/ladies man Luis.

The Madison
Mike runs a small comedy theatre in Halifax, NS called the Madison: a home to some of the strangest, most mis-matched misfits ever to get an improv suggestion. When his successful comedian sister Adele returns home, he immediately urges her back onto the stage, whether she is ready or not. An original half-hour single-camera comedy pilot, written by Ian MacIntyre
